Mantle (TS) (Common)
The Insectoplant has a mantle on their back, which resembles a normal Insectoplant backpack but is instead fleshy with a lip and pocket. They resemble the mantles of slugs. Wings may still come out of Mantles if the Insectoplant has them.

This trait only applies to Toxislugs.
Multiple Wings (BM) (Mandatory)
The Insectoplant has more than one set of wings. Additional sets of wings can be placed anywhere on the body.
Note:
This trait only applies to Brewmoths. If any other subspecies has multiple sets of wings, it falls under Multiple Body Parts instead.

Snail Shell (SP) (Mutation)
Species: Snowphid

-
No Wings (BM) (Forbidden)
Species: Brewmoth
Non-Insectoid Wings (Rare)
The Insectoplant has wings that do not match the description for any existing insectoid wing trait, such as avian wings or bat wings. It is optional for them to still have a backpack or not.
Alternate Types Show
-
Non-Insectoid Wings (BM) (Uncommon)
Species: Brewmoth
Turtle Shell (Rare)
The Insectoplant has a plated shell similar to those seen on turtles. Wings may still come out of Turtle Shells if the Insectoplant has them.

No Backpack (Mutation)
The Insectoplant does not have a backpack on their back. They may still have wings coming directly out of their back.
Note:
This trait is only applies if the Insectoplant does not have No Wings or Non-Insectoid Wings but still has no backpack. If they have either of those traits, this trait is not necessary.
Alternate Types Show
-
No Backpack (BM) (Common)
Species: Brewmoth
Silk Pack (AT) (Mandatory)
The Insectoplant has a “backpack” made out of silk instead of a traditional backpack, which is used for storing their additional legs and wings.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas.
Web Wings (AT) (Common)
The Insectoplant has wings made out of silk that can be used to glide but not fly. They can be tucked in and out of Silk Packs.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas.
Cape Wings (AT) (Uncommon)
The Insectoplant has large, cape-shaped wings made out of silk that hang from a Silk Pack. They can be used to glide but not fly.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas.
Leg Wings (AT) (Rare)
The Insectoplant has silk webbing between the legs coming out of their Silk Pack, forming wings that allow the Insectoplant to fly and glide for long distances. These wings can not tuck into the Silk Pack due to their size.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas.
Any Other Wings (AT) (Mutation)
The Insectoplant has wings that do not match the description for any other Aratela wing trait. This trait encompasses all wing traits other than Web Wings, Cape Wings, Flap Wings, and Leg Wings. The silk pack sits between the wings.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas. For any other subspecies, the specific wing trait is used, such as Beetle Wings, Dragonfly Wings, etc.
