The Insectoplant’s plant is anything that could be considered “simple” or “basic.” This includes but is not limited to leaves, trees, grass, moss, and sprouts.

The Insectoplant’s plant is any type of flower.
Note:
Leaves, roots, stems, and the like may be included without the Basic Plant trait if they are clearly attached to and a part of the flower.

The Insectoplant has more than one plant type.
Note:
If you have multiple of the same type of plant (such as two different types of flowers), this trait is not needed.
Retractable Plant (Mutation)
The Insectoplant is able to retract its plant into its body so that the plant is no longer visible. It may also make a plant inside the body come back out again.
Note:
When they have Retractable Plant, the Insectoplant must still have at least one listed plant trait, even if that plant is not visible in the reference image.

No Plant (Retired)
The Insectoplant does not have any plant.
NOTE:
This trait is Retired and cannot be used with new Insectoplant designs or redesigns.
When redesigning an Insectoplant with the "No Plant" trait, you may either:
- Trade it for Retractable Plant and any plant trait of any rarity of your choice
- Trade it for a Common plant trait and one Exclusive trait of your choice
Silk Plant (AT) (Common)
The Insectoplant has small plants coming out of the silk on their body. These plants can be any sort of small plant, fruit, or vegetable.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas.
Any Other Plant (AT) (Mutation)
The Insectoplant has plants coming out of areas of the body not covered in silk. This trait encompasses all plant traits other than Silk Plant.
Note:
This trait only applies to Aratelas. For any other subspecies, the specific plant trait is used, such as Basic Plant, Flower Plant, etc.
